CHAPTER #7 SYNOPSIS
CHAPTER 7: DAVID AND MICHAL: MORE LEAVING
When King David marries Michal, the daughter of his nemesis King Saul, the ensuing dysfunction serves as a deeply affecting object lesson. The Bible never describes Michal as David’s wife, only as Saul’s daughter. This chapter builds on the definitions and principles of its predecessor to provide an enlightening look at what to leave, when to leave, and how couples can “leave” past thoughts, expectations, behaviors, and relationships to be joined to the spouse God has given them.
